- 1 lb. fresh green beans
- 2 tbsp. Tin Star Foods Brown Butter
- 2 garlic cloves (finely minced)
- 2 bacon strips (crisped and diced)
- Lemon juice for garnish
To begin, bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Now, add green beans to the pot and boil until the beans are bright green and tender crisp (about 2 minutes). Then remove the beans from the water, immediately transfer them to an ice bath (equal parts cold water and ice) and set aside.
Now, heat Brown butter in a skillet over medium high heat and add minced garlic. Sauté garlic (continuously stirring) until garlic is fragrant (about a minute). Now, remove the green beans from the ice bath and add it to the skillet. Toss the beans with the garlic and brown butter. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and finish with bacon pieces.
Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
