Paleo Korean BBQ Short Ribs

1 lb. thinly sliced beef short ribs (cut flanken style!)
2 tbsp. coconut aminos
2 tbsp. liquid aminos
1 tsp. grated ginger
1 tsp. pure sesame oil
2 tbsp. pineapple juice
½ tsp. Korean pepper flakes (or crushed red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. Tin Star Foods Grass-fed ghee
½ tsp. sesame seeds
1 scallion (finely chopped)
To begin, mix together all ingredients from coconut aminos through red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Place beef in a shallow bowl with a tight lid and pour over marinade. Cover, transfer to the fridge and marinate for 1 hour.
Now, heat ghee in a large cast-iron skillet or grill pan until it starts to smoke. Transfer ribs to the pan (discard the remaining marinade) and sear or grill ribs for about 3-5 minutes turning once to your desired doneness.
Transfer ribs to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve with rice and kimchi or with lettuce and tortillas.
