1 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp with tail on
Zest of half a lemon
Salt and pepper
4 tbsp. Tin Star Foods Brown Butter
2 shallots (finely chopped)
2 garlic cloves (finely minced)
¼ tsp crushed red pepper
½ cup bone broth
Juice of one small lemon
2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
To begin, toss shrimp with lemon zest and season with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of Tin Star Foods Brown Butter over medium high heat. Add shrimp to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on both sides. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Now, lower the heat and add shallots, garlic and crushed red pepper to the same pan. Stir and sauté for about 3 minutes until shallots are tender. Now stir in bone broth and lemon juice and simmer until the sauce reduces to about half (about 5 minutes). Return shrimp to the sauce and simmer just enough to heat the shrimp through.
Remove the shrimp from the heat, and garnish with lemon and parsley. Serve over zucchini noodles or with crusty bread.
